Arrival Nights, and Spring's Aroma

6.1.11

I came back from a very needed and wonderful holiday, only to arrive to more snow! I'm sure it will dissipate soon, since everyone seems to be in a springing forward mindset, right?
I love snow, however since I am not able to ride the slopes until the end of February if not earlier (with crossed fingers, and toes), it's safe to say that my happiness would be heightened if the snow was less apparent in the following morning!

I am fond of a dashing hat or two during my weekly ensembles. Nevertheless, I keep hearing the echo of peep-toed wedges, and infinite hues of sandals calling my name! Perhaps, it may be those glossy pages that I incessantly turn trying to grab my attention; all pushing new campaign ads, and spring addicting colours to purchase.

My goodness... everything seems to roll by so swiftly these days! Holdiays, weeks, months, special occasions, more weddings to attend, and so on...

The anticipation of new things always brings a nice welcoming smile to my face, quite like the first falling snowflakes as they enter my driveway.  But, with the environmental change that comes with the seasons, so does your sartorial style.

What are some of your influences for spring? What are you most looking forward to wear, or buy?
Here's some of my inspiration at the present moment as we wait for spring to jump out of bed, and get dressed to show us her alluring clothes that we all know and love.

For Loewe's spring 2011 collection, Stuart Vever really impelled me to want more than a few pretty, packable, and vibrant pieces he showcased.  The overall clothing is not entirely my typical style, yet I loved his show simply for the use of colouring. It most definitely was felt in the small details, such as the necklines, the trimming, and fresh distribution of prints throughout the collection.

Press play, have a glance, and see for yourself!
